If the baby is given the opportunity to suckle in the first hour it will reduce 22% of infant mortality below 28 days (Roesli, Utami: 2008). Data obtained at BPS Ny. Kisworo Pratiwi Surabaya in 2018 results showed that mothers who did not carry out IMD tended to increase by 1.59% but it was still below the target where normal delivery mothers had to do IMD after giving birth because IMD was the first step in the success of exclusive ASI. The purpose of the study was to determine the relationship between age and education level of maternity mothers with the implementation of IMD in BPS Ny. Kisworo Pratiwi Surabaya in 2018. Method: The research method used was cross sectional analytic type with secondary data in 2018 at BPS Ny. Kisworo Pratiwi Surabaya. The population of 334 people and a sample of 180 people were selected by systematic random sampling. The results of the study were made frequency table, cross tabulation and analyzed with Chi-Square test. Results: The results obtained by maternal women in BPS Ny. Kisworo Pratiwi Surabaya in 2018 the majority aged <20 years 94 people (52.22%), the majority of low education 101 people (56.11%) and the majority did not do an IMD of 120 people (66.67%) and those who did the majority IMD at age> 20 years by 46 people (28.67%), higher education 45 people (26.33%). From the Chi-Square test results obtained age variable itung2 count> table (30.09> 3.84) while the education variable χ 2 count> table (35.39> 3.84) which means Ho is rejected. Discussion: There is a relationship between age and level of education with the implementation of IMD. Therefore, it is necessary for health workers to socialize the implementation of IMD by providing IEC (communication, information and education) to pregnant and giving birth mothers about the importance of IMD in newborns.
Ely tjahjani ##submission.copyrightStatement## 2020-02-04 2020-02-04 6 2 65 79 LEVEL OF EDUCATION AND WORK OF CHILDREN MOTHER WITH POSYANDU PARTICIPATION (D / S) http://griyahusada.id/journal/index.php/midwifery/article/view/90
Introduction: Achievement of Posyandu participation (D / S = Number of under-fives weighed divided by the total number of children under five in the village) in 2017 in West Ketapang in 2017 was 42.3%, national target 85%. From this data, the participation of Posyandu is below the target. And as a result, the child's growth and development are not monitored maximally. Thus, the study aims to determine the relationship of education and occupation of mothers of children under five with the participation of posyandu (D / S) in West Papua Pososandu in 2018. Method: The research method uses analytic design with cross sectional surveys, the population is all mothers of toddlers in West Papua Pososandu in 2018 as many as 521. people, probability sampling in systematic random sampling was obtained as many as 227 people, using secondary data: registers, KMS, processed with frequency tables, cross tabulation, analyzed by Chi-Square test. Results: The results obtained by the majority of low educated 59.47% (135 people), the majority did not work 64.76% (147 people), active posyandu (D / S) participation 61.23% (139 people), while cross tabulation obtained a high-educated majority active in Posyandu (D / S) participation (72.82%) than low education (46.67%), and Chi-Square test analysis obtained χ2Calculate> χ2Table ie 8.76> 3.84, then Ho refused. The majority of non-working mothers are active in posyandu (D / S) participation (70.74%), compared to working (56.25%), and the Chi-Square test analysis obtained itung2Calculate> χ2Table ie 15.89> 3, 84, then Ho is rejected. Discussion: there is a relationship between education and the work of mothers of children under five with the participation of D / S posyandu in posapandu ketapang barat in 2018. Therefore there needs to be an approach, counseling and motivation to mothers of toddlers about the importance of posyandu through home visits and village community deliberations
Endang Buda Setyowati ##submission.copyrightStatement## 2020-02-04 2020-02-04 6 2 76 82 AGE LEVEL AND PREGNANT WOMEN TRIMESTER III PREGNANT WOMEN WITH VISIT K4 http://griyahusada.id/journal/index.php/midwifery/article/view/91
Introduction: K4 is contact with pregnant women with health workers 4 or more, to get antenatal care according to established standards. The national and provincial target of East Java for K4 visits is 95%. East Java Health Office data for K4 achievement in 2017 amounted to 79.98%. In Puskesmas Manukan Kulon Surabaya K4 visits from 2015 amounted to 60.73%, 2016 amounted to 72.16% and in 2017 amounted to 87.97% are still below the national target of 95% in 2017. Based on this problem it is deemed necessary to conduct a study aimed at to find out is there a relationship between age and parity of TM III pregnant women with K4 visit at Manukan Public Health Center in 2018. Method: This study was an analytic study with cross sectional design. Sampling by probability sampling with systematic random sampling techniques a sample of 181 people. Intake of a cohort of pregnant women. The results of the study were made frequency tabulation, cross tabulation and analyzed by Chi-Square Test with the provisions χ2. 3.84 (α = 0.05%). Results: From the results of the study showed that many K4 visits were at the age level of 20-35 as many as 40 people (63.49%) and in mothers with primiparous parity as many as 51 people (62.20%). Based on the Chi-Square test on the age and parity level obtained itung2calculate> T2Table so H0 is rejected. Discussion: There is a relationship between age level and parity of third trimester pregnant women with K4 visit. Where health workers are expected to be active in providing motivation and counseling during pregnancy to pregnant women to check their pregnancy regularly at least 4 times during pregnancy. Thus complications in pregnancy can be detected early and K4 visits can be achieved.
Henny Juaria ##submission.copyrightStatement## 2020-02-04 2020-02-04 6 2 83 89 BODY MASS INDEX <18.5 WITH MENARCHE AGE IN PRINCESS ADOLESCENTS (11-15 YEARS) http://griyahusada.id/journal/index.php/midwifery/article/view/92
Introduction: Early puberty in young women is marked by the arrival of the first menstruation called menarche. This can occur at the age of 9-13 years. From a preliminary survey at Walisongo Gempol Pasuruan Middle School, data from 10 female teenage respondents were found, 40% of girls experienced menarche at the age of> 13 years. The decrease in age in getting menarche is largely influenced by nutritional status that can be measured using the Body Mass Index. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between Body Mass Index and age of menarche in young women in Walisongo Gempol Pasuruan Middle School. Method: The research method used was cross sectional with a population of 8th and 9th grade research population totaling 232 students. Sampling was done by systematic random sampling and a sample of 45 students was obtained. Then the frequency table is made, cross tabulated and analyzed with the Spearman Rank Test. Results: The results showed that most of the girls had a BMI <18.5, namely 25 people (55.56%). Of the young women who had a BMI <18.5 who got menarche at age <13 years as many as 4 people (16.67%) and who got menarche at age> 13 as many as 21 people (84.0%). From the Spearman Rank Test results found that p (0.00) <α (0.05) then H0 is rejected, which means there is a relationship between BMI and age of menarche. Discussion: there is a relationship between BMI <18.5 with the age of menarche in young women. The higher the BMI value, the lower the age of menarche. So that treatment is needed to improve the health of adolescent girls, regarding monitoring nutritional status and education about adolescent health.
Rachel Dwi Wilujeng ##submission.copyrightStatement## 2020-02-04 2020-02-04 6 2 90 96 LEVEL OF EDUCATION AND ATTITUDE OF THE POSTURE MOTHER ABOUT PERINEUM CARE http://griyahusada.id/journal/index.php/midwifery/article/view/93
Introduction: The perineum is the area between the thighs bounded by the vulva and anus. Injury to the birth canal can occur due to an error during labor. In addition, the birth canal can also occur due to intentional acts such as episotomy. The cause of perineal infection is caused by organisms that attack the implantation or laceration due to childbirth. Based on data obtained at BPS Ny. Retno Soepomo Surabaya found that mothers who experienced perineal tears in 2016 to 2018 experienced an increase of (32.9%). Therefore this study aims to determine the description of education and postpartum mothers' attitudes about care for perineal wounds. Method: This research uses descriptive method. The study population was all postpartum mothers who controlled on the 7th day with perineal suture wounds in July with a non probability sampling technique which sampled saturated samples, with a sample of 42 people using a questionnaire as primary data and secondary data, data analysis with frequency tables and cross tabulation. Results: The results showed that postpartum mothers with low education majority of perineal wounds did not heal (85.71%) compared to postpartum mothers with higher education the majority of perineum healed wounds (75%), while postpartum mothers with postpartum mothers' attitudes were less amenable to perineum injuries not healed (81.82%) compared to postpartum mothers who had the agreed attitude the majority of perineal wounds healed (71.43%). Discussion: Mothers who take care of perineal wounds can be influenced by education and attitudes of women about care for perineal wounds. Therefore health workers should provide correct advice or instructions on how to perform perineal wound care for successful healing of perineal wounds.
Lina Darmayanti Bainuan ##submission.copyrightStatement## 2020-02-04 2020-02-04 6 2 97 103 LEVEL OF POSTAPRTUM HOUSING BASED ON AGE AND MOTHER NUTRITION STATUS http://griyahusada.id/journal/index.php/midwifery/article/view/94
Introduction: The incidence of bleeding in BPS Retno Surabaya in 2015 to 2016 decreased by 1%, then from 2016 to 2017 there was an increase of 1.2%. Although the rate of bleeding is still below the tolerance level according to the East Java Health Office which is 4% in 2007, but the incidence of bleeding in BPS Retno Soepomo Surabaya has increased from 2016 to 2017, this study aims to determine the description of age, and nutritional status mothers give birth to the incidence of HPP. Method: This research is descriptive. The population used was all maternity during the January-June 2018 period with 110 people with a total sample of 110 people selected using non-probability sampling. Secondary data collection from maternal cohorts and delivery reports. The results of the study were made in the form of frequency distribution and cross tabulation. Results: The results showed that the majority of women aged 20 - 35 years (86.36%), good nutritional status (94.54%) The results of cross tabulation showed that mothers with good nutritional status did not experience HPP (98.08%), compared to mothers with underweight nutritional status of 50% HPP. Discussion: the high incidence of HPP due to age and nutritional status. Midwives as health workers should be able to reduce the incidence of HPP by providing various counseling about reproductive age that is safe for pregnancy and childbirth, providing care and IEC adjusted to the nutritional status of the mother.
sugiarti sugiarti ##submission.copyrightStatement## 2020-02-04 2020-02-04 6 2 104 110 LEVEL OF KNOWLEDGE AND MOTHER'S ATTITUDE IN PAP SMEAR EXAMINATION http://griyahusada.id/journal/index.php/midwifery/article/view/95
Introduction: From the data of Petrochemical Hospital from 2017-2018 the percentage of patients undergoing a pap smear examination decreased by 3.7% to 9%.
